(The following is a transcript of a recording I taped of this one section of the meeting. We did this so we could accurately share the advice given. Julie)
Thank you so much, Ian, for your highly-valued advice. Here is a transcript of what he shared:
1. High-dose intravenous vitamin C if you are sick. If you can, find a mobile nurse to do it. It may even stop you from being admitted to the hospital. It’s so absolutely essential. It’s a lifesaver. High-dose intravenous vitamin C. It is not a vitamin. It is a redox reagent that stops you from burning up with free radicals in your system and going down the cytokine storm road. It reverses virtually every pathology you can think of, or at least slows it down so that the body has a chance to heal itself.
2. Make sure you’ve got your signed forms for consent; hospitals have to provide these to you, make sure you have a power of attorney over your patient or at least a Medical power of attorney, boom, do that before because you might be going into hospital. You might be uncovered.
3. Make sure you give full and informed consent. You are also entitled to a full and informed refusal of treatment.
Helping with the education of nurses at least here in Victoria but being approached by others in other states to continue our training of nurses in Intravenous therapy so it can be done as outpatients. I believe every Australian should have access to high-dose intravenous vitamin C and other life-saving intravenous nutrition equals which have been used for decades in this country. And all of a sudden we come to a roadblock because of the regulations and because our doctors are no longer doctors or Physicians because “doctor” means to teach and physician means to heal. You have to look at every possibility as we go to your patient and this is not happening. There are some good doctors out there. Still don’t get me wrong but let’s do some work with them, let’s assist them. We have to call them out, retrain them and change the way medicine is practised.
